Why you are a trainer?
It is a privilege to be invited to facilitate people’s
learning and development and when they get something
out of it you can’t help but feel good about your
work.
How would you describe your unique style as a trainer?
My HR background means I always have my eye on the
purpose of the session and I hold a true belief in
accelerated learning and individual learning styles.
This means I design and deliver creative, engaging
sessions that really benefit on both practical and
inspirational levels.
Any final comments?
There is no such word as ‘can’t’
only ‘choose not to’

were spent in Technical Training both in the UK and overseas.
I have spent the last five years as a freelance trainer.

My main hobby is spending time with the children and family
when I’m not working! I also enjoy going to the gym and
meeting up with close friends.
Why you are a trainer?
One of my main motivations to being a trainer is the
constant challenge that it provides. Considering what will allow
the delegates to get the best possible return on their investment
of time and energy, along with responding to their varied questions
and concerns certainly keeps me on my toes!
How would you describe your unique style as a trainer?
My training style is fun, interactive, thought provoking,
down-to-earth, supportive and pragmatic.
Any final comments?
I believe that we should all constantly strive to increase
our knowledge and develop our skills. Even more importantly
we should always be prepared to allow and help others to do
the same.

Worked in manufacturing, IT services, retail and the public sector.

Hobbies are anything to do with the outdoors eg mountain biking, climbing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and mountaineering. I also compete in triathlon.
Why you are a trainer?
The best part of my job is seeing people make changes for themselves. That ‘aha’ moment, when something clicks into place for a person is fantastic.
